Organic Henna
Q: What is Henna?
- Henna also known as mehndi comes from the leaves of a plant called Lawsonia inermis. The leaves are then used to stain skin or hair whether it is dried out and made into a fine powder or made fresh off the tree.
Q: How long does henna last?
- Natural henna can last up to 3 weeks when taken care of properly
Q: How do I get the best results?
- The longer you keep on the paste the better it is for the stain. Henna likes the warmth so while the paste is on, keep that area warm. It is recommended to avoid soap and/or water for the first 12-24 hours after the dried paste is removed. Once the paste is off, rub the stain with (our natural balm/ coconut oil).
Q: What is in the paste?
- Our henna paste is made of organic, triple-sifted henna powder, essential oils, lemon juice, and sugar. These are all natural and body-safe. The essential oil blend is not recommended for pregnant women. Please email us to find out more about the sensitive skin option for henna cones.
